About Hari Gita

Hari Gita, available at Harigita.com, is a not-for-profit, non-commercial, and donation-free open-source initiative by sitemust.com. It is entirely self-sustained and exists solely to share and promote the timeless teachings of Bhagavan Sri Krishna through digital and electronic platforms.

This project draws deep inspiration from the unparalleled service of Gita Press, Gorakhpur—whose dedication has safeguarded and disseminated Sanatan Dharma’s sacred texts for generations. While we are not officially affiliated with Gita Press, we hold profound reverence and gratitude for their contribution in preserving India’s spiritual and cultural heritage during a time when spiritual knowledge and culture faced significant decline due to centuries of Islamic invasion and British colonization. Their efforts ensured that sacred scriptures like the Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, Ramayana, Puranas, and Vedas reached millions of homes in India—often before the age of electricity and long before the digital era.

The Sanskrit text and Hindi translations provided on this website are sourced from Gita Press, Gorakhpur. We offer our deepest respects and namaskāra to Srila Ved Vyasa, Swami Sri Ramsukhdasji Maharaj, Sri Hanuman Prasad Poddar Bhai Ji, Sri Radha Babaji, and the many compassionate saints whose wisdom and guidance have made this project possible. Though they are no longer with us physically, their teachings continue to illuminate countless lives.

Please Note: Hari Gita does NOT accept donations, payments, or any form of revenue. This project is a humble service offered to Bhagavan Sri Krishna and His devotees. All spiritual content—most notably the Srimad Bhagavad Gita—remains the eternal and divine heritage of Bhārat (India) and the world, originating from Srila Ved Vyasa.
